A friend sent me the link to your website because of the "canteen" story from 1957 (the year I graduated from Crafton HS). That was a special place as you described. I recall a lot more dancing and a lot friendlier girls than your version but it brought back special memories. I just found this site and look forward to reading more of your stories.
